Abstract:
To improve quality by resolving a local warpage deformation (sag) occurring at a corner part of a panel member by a roller action on a flange part of the panel member.SOLUTION: A tapping tool 40, which acts on a panel acute angle 34 in a plan view appearance of the outer panel 1 subjected to hemming processing by making a roller act on a flange 3 formed at an edge of the outer panel 1 in a bent shape to a panel body 2, has a contact face 41 coming in contact with the panel acute angle 34, where the contact face 41 includes a planar part 46, a recess 47 formed as a part recessed with respect to the planar part 46 and brings a recessed spherical face 48 and an R-shaped part 49 which form the recess 47 into contact with the short flange 35 of the panel acute angle 34, thereby acting on the panel acute angle 34 under pressing force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
