Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed device of a printer in which the insertion properties of a recording paper are good and the molding of a pinch roller holder is easy by reducing the pressure angle of the recording paper and the pinch roller at the time of inserting the recording paper.
SOLUTION: A shaft 2b of a roller is inserted into a guide channel 3d of a bearing of a roller holder 3, and the roller 2 is fitted on a holder 3. A protruded section 3e for preventing the dropping of a roller main body 2a from the holder is provided on the end of an inner wall 3d of the roller holder 3. The roller 2 gets over the protruded section 3e formed on the holder 3 by the deformation of the elastic bearing 3u, and the roller 2 is fitted on the holder 3. The bearing 3u is restored to the original shape after fitting, and the roller is protected from dropping from the holder by the protruded section 3e. The roller holder can be manufactured by the simple plastic molding of just drawing out a molding tool in the up and down direction.
