Abstract:
To provide a roller replacement auxiliary tool of a fixing unit, capable of easily and safely performing roller replacement.
The roller replacement auxiliary tool of the fixing unit is configured to extract at least one of a heating roller 14 having a heater lamp 25 provided therein and a pressure roller 15 which is disposed so as to come in press-contact with the heating roller 14, from a replacement opening part 78 formed in a frame 50 of the fixing unit in a shaft direction so as to be replaced. The roller replacement auxiliary tool includes a protection means 82 for protecting the roller when the roller is replaced.
