Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller ski installed with wheels having both functions to a rectilinear direction and lateral gliding direction to enable a player to obtain the sensation similar to that of ski on snow.
SOLUTION: This roller ski consists of the mechanism obtained by connecting wheel supporting parts to the front and rear of a base plate, of which the top surface is formed as a foot loading part, pivotally supporting wheels which rotate in the longitudinal direction of the base plate 1 on these wheel supporting parts, spanning slender elliptic tire parts 8 rotating in a direction orthogonal with the traveling direction of the wheels between tire supporting parts 6 derived radially from the center of the wheels toward the circumference and further fixing edge plates having a specified thickness thereto in the state of holding the wheels in-between.
