Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller surface foreign matter eliminating device that can efficiently eliminate foreign matters stuck to the roller surface. SOLUTION: At the time of eliminating a matting agent stuck to a pass roller 16, a first adhesive roller 24 is brought into contact with the rotating pass roller 16. Then the first adhesive roller 24 is rotated while coming in rolling contact with the pass roller 16, and the matting agent stuck to the plass roller 16 is stuck to the first adhesive roller 24 by adhesive strength of the first adhesive roller 24. The matting agent is therefore eliminated efficiently from the pass roller 16.
