Abstract:
To increase stiffness and reduce weight of a rocker arm in a structure of a roller type rocker arm including a cam roller.
Support walls 41, 42 rotatably supporting a cam roller 17c of the roller type rocker arm 17 is constructed in a pair to put the cam roller 17c therebetween. A lower part of the support walls 41, 42 are mutually connected through a valve pressing part 17d. A reinforcement part 45 connecting each support wall 41, 42 is disposed between the valve pressing part 17d and the cam roller 17c. An arm part 17b is singly constructed so as to connect a base part 17a and either (support wall 42) of the support walls 41, 42.
