Abstract:
To provide a state monitoring method and a state monitoring device for a rolling bearing capable of prediction of an occurrence of failure in a bearing or preventing the occurrence of the failure by monitoring rotation slipping of the bearing in a method easily executed in an actual machine.SOLUTION: A state monitoring method for a rolling bearing includes: a step for having ultrasonic waves generated toward an outer wheel or an inner wheel from a probe of an ultrasonic sensor attached to the outer wheel of the rolling bearing, a housing to which the outer wheel is fitted, an inner wheel, or a shaft to which the inner wheel is fitted, receiving reflection waves from a boundary between an outer wheel and a rotating body, a boundary between the housing and the outer wheel, a boundary between the inner wheel and the rotating body, or a boundary between the shaft and the inner wheel, and deriving an actually measured revolution number of the rotating body based on the variation of echo height of the received reflection waves; a step for detecting rotational number of the housing to which the inner wheel, outer wheel of the bearing, a rotational shaft to which the inner wheel is fitted to, or the housing to which the outer wheel is fitted by a rotation sensor, and deriving a theoretical revolution number of the rotating body based on the rotation number; and a step for monitoring rotation slipping of the rolling bearing by comparing the actually measured revolution number of the rotating body and the theoretical revolution number of the rotating body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
