Abstract:
To grasp at least one of a radial load and an axial load applied on a rolling bearing on the basis of a rolling body load.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing device is equipped with a rolling bearing 10, a plurality of torsion sensors 20 disposed at intervals in the whole circumferential direction of an outer ring 11 thereof, and a computing device 30. The computing device 30 a load direction estimating portion 41 that estimates a load direction of a radial load Fr on the basis of a detection value of a predetermined number of torsion sensors 20, an installation angle of the torsion sensors 20 corresponding to the respective detection values, and an approximate function of a load distribution of a rolling body load Q, and a first calculating portion 42 that calculates a total value Va of a component value in a load direction in the detection value of each torsion sensor 20 on the basis of a contact angle of a ball 13 of the rolling bearing 10 and the load direction, and a first load estimating portion 44 that estimates a value of the radial load Fr in the load direction on the basis of the total value Va and correlation information between the total value Va obtained by a test in advance and the radial load Fr.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
