Title:
ROLLING BEARING DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING PINION SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007255555
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To supply a sufficient amount of oil scraped up by a ring gear to two rolling bearings even if a nose angle is provided.

A rolling bearing device for supporting a pinion shaft has a configuration constituted by supporting the pinion shaft 12 provided with a pinion gear 10 at a tip by the rolling bearings 16, 18 in two sections 14a, 14b on an inner side of a cylindrical wall 14 provided in a case 8, providing an oil supply passage 24 for letting oil flow down onto an anti-pinion gear side naturally above an outer side of the cylindrical wall 14 by using a pinion gear side as the upstream side, forming an upstream side oil supply port 26 communicating between both of the rolling bearings 16 and 18 in a halfway section of the oil supply passage 24, forming a downstream side oil supply port 28 communicating with the rolling bearing 18 on a further innermost side of the oil supply passage 24, and adjusting both of the oil supply ports 26, 28 in the direction for opening them on the upstream side and closing them on the downstream side when a nose angle of the pinion shaft 12 is less than a predetermined angle for both of the oil supply ports 26, 28 and in the direction for closing them on the upstream side and opening them on the downstream side when the nose angle of the pinion shaft 12 is above the predetermined angle by lid mechanisms 30, 32.
