Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembling performance of a sealing device while securing the durability of a rolling bearing device for a wheel by preventing the intrusion of water into a fitting part between an outer ring and a core grid.SOLUTION: In a rolling bearing device for a wheel, a sealing device 36 arranged at the outside of the wheels has a core grid 31 fixed to an internal peripheral face 27 of an outer ring 10, a lip contacting with an inner ring and an annular cylindrical cover part 41 contacting with an external peripheral face of the outer ring are elastic bodies, and integrally formed at the core grid 31, a first external peripheral face 52 and a second external peripheral face 51 are formed at the external peripheral face of the outer ring 10 coaxially with an axial line of the outer ring 10, the first external peripheral face 52 and the second external peripheral face 51 are continuous to each other so as to form a corner part 53 which is protrusive to the outside of a radial direction, and the cylindrical cover part 52 contacts with the corner part 53 over the whole periphery in the radial direction.
