Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that slurry flowing along a suspension device such as a knuckle flows out to an external periphery of an outer ring cylinder part of a rolling bearing device for a wheel, a water pouring amount of a sealing device at an outer side is increased by the slurry, and the durability of the sealing device is thereby lowered.SOLUTION: This rolling bearing device 1 for a wheel has an outer ring 2 which is formed of a cylinder part 7 and a plurality of flange parts 8. A cylindrical cylinder face 7a is formed at an outer side rather than the flange parts at an external periphery of the cylinder part 7. A protrusion 32 which protrudes to the outside in a radial direction from the external periphery of the cylinder part 7 at a position in which the protrusion is overlapped on the flange parts 8 in an axial direction being a position in which the protrusion is overlapped on the most apex part of the cylinder face 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
