To provide a rolling bearing device capable of improving working efficiency of a spherical part of an outer ring on which the outer ring is aligned to an axle box.
A rolling bearing device 1 includes an annular inner ring 2, a non-annular outer ring 3, an axle box 5, and cylindrical rollers 4 arranged in two rows. The outer ring 3 has a circular arc-shaped cross section in a diameter direction, is arranged more on the lower side from an axial center 11 and includes a spherical part 3a of which the outer periphery is formed on a part of the spherical surface in an axial cross section, the axle box 5 has a spherical seat 5c constituted of a part of the spherical surface on the lower side of the axial center 11 and has a raceway surface formed on an inner periphery on the upper side of the axial line 11, and the cylindrical rollers 4 roll on an outer ring raceway surface 3g and an axle box upper raceway surface 5d as raceways to align the outer ring 3 with the axle box 5. The spherical part 3a includes two rows of contact parts 3b which are formed on both ends and brought into contact with the spherical seat 5c and a non-contact part 3c which are formed between the contact parts 3b and not brought into contact with the spherical seat 5c, and the contact parts 3b are formed on approximately the same positions as the cylindrical rollers 4 in the axial direction.
