Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for paper making having rust preventive performance with improved durability with less environmental load and at low cost.SOLUTION: This invention provides a rolling bearing for paper making characterized in that, a surface of at least one of an inner ring, an outer ring and a rolling element is coated, via a phosphate coating, a metal coating obtained by shot-peening method and comprising less noble metal than iron and more noble metal than iron. Preferably, the "less noble metal than iron" is at least one of Al, Zn, Bi and Mn, and the "more noble metal than iron" is at least one of Ni, Cr, Ti and Sn.
