A ball 13 for constituting an upper bearing 1 as the rolling bearing for the submerged pump for rotatably supporting a submerged pump shaft being at least any one shaft of a pump shaft and a motor shaft of the submerged pump to a member oppositely arranged to the submerged pump shaft, is constituted of a sintered body expressed by a composition formula of Si6-ZAlZOZN8-Z, mainly composed of sialon for satisfying 0.1z3.5 and composed of a residual part of an impurity, and the Young's modulus is set to 180 GPa-270 GPa.
