Abstract:
To materialize a structure for determining whether abnormality is caused or not based on a defect such as flaking or crack at a rolling contact part of an rolling bearing unit at low cost.
Existence of abnormality of the rolling bearing unit is determined by using signal indicating revolution speed of rolling element 8a, 8b. For that purpose, an actual change condition which is a change condition of revolution speed of each rolling element 8a, 8b at the time is compared with a normal change condition stored in memory. If difference exceeding a predetermined threshold exists between the actual change condition and the normal change condition, abnormality of the rolling bearing unit is determined.
