To clearly know an abnormal temperature by means of visual observation, to require no excess time for installing a bearing, and to simplify the constitution at a low cost.
A detecting member 6 is arranged so as to be housed in an annular space between inner/outer races 1, 2. The detecting member 6 uses a shape memory alloy, and projects from a bearing end part by being deformed when an internal temperature of a bearing rises to a prescribed temperature or more. The detecting member 6 is formed, for example, in a ring-like disk shape, and also preferably serves as a shield plate. The detecting member 6 is preferably constituted of a regulating member by the shape memory alloy and a spring member for regulating projection from the regulating member and the bearing.
