Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a rolling bearing with three degrees of freedom which is used for joints of robots and manipulator more than conventional gimbal structure, make it highly accurate and miniaturize the whole of it.

CONSTITUTION: This bearing is provided with an outer ring 1 having spherical internal space, at least one part of which opens outward, a spherical inner ring 2 which is arranged in the spherical internal space with a specified gap, and a plurality of spherical rolling elements, and the inner ring 2 is turnably arranged in three axial directions.
