To provide a rolling bearing of which the outer ring is hardly deformed even when a great radial-directional load is applied onto the outer ring.
In this rolling bearing using an outside diameter face of the outer ring as a rolling face, and provided with contact seals 5, 5 contacting radial-directionally in both end parts of the bearing, a pitch circular diameter(P. C.D) is set to a half or less of total of a bearing inside diameter d and a bearing outside diameter D, and a wall thickness T in the deepest part in a raceway surface of the outer ring 2 is set to one-third or more of a diameter of a rolling element 3. The wall thickness of the outer ring 2 is thickened thereby to enhance rigidity and strength, the deformation is made difficult even when the radial-directional load is applied, and the deformation and contact failure in the contact seals 5, 5 accompanied to the deformation of the outer ring 2 are prevented to maintain water-proof performance essential to the contact seals.
