To provide a rolling bearing with a long service life, provided with a sealing device with excellent sealing performance even in inferior environment and particularly suitable for a wheel.
This rolling bearing is provided with an outer ring having an outer ring raceway track on the inner peripheral surface; an inner ring having an inner ring raceway track on the outer peripheral surface; a plurality of rolling elements rollably provided between the outer ring raceway track and the inner ring raceway track; and a sealing device for closing the axial opening part of a space provided with the rolling elements between the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring and the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring. An elastic member constituting the sealing device is formed of a vulcanizable rubber composition composed by mixing at least carbon black in carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber.
