To provide a rolling bearing preventing decline in run-out accuracy and securing high durability and excellent sealing performance, by arranging a seal plate without deteriorating circularity of an outer diameter face of an outer ring.
This rolling bearing is equipped with an inner ring 10 and the outer ring 12 arranged so as to be relatively rotated each other, a plurality of rolling elements 14 rotatably arranged between the inner and outer rings 10, 12, and a shield 16 for preventing a lubricant sealed inside the bearing from leaking out to outside of the bearing and at the same time preventing foreign matters from invading from outside of the bearing to inside of the bearing. On the outer diameter face 10s of the inner ring 10, a seal groove 10a is formed. The base end of the shield 16 is caulked on the seal groove 10a, and the tip of the shield 16 extends in the outer ring 12 direction. In this case, by caulking the shield 16 on the seal groove 10a of the inner ring 10, the shield 16 can be arranged so as to maintain a state where the circularity of the outer diameter face 12s of the outer ring 12 is within a specification.
