Abstract:
To provide a rolling bearing used in an engine auxiliary machinery and a gas heat pump, capable of being rotated at a higher speed, and elongating its service life by effectively preventing early separation and seizure even when its use environment has further high temperatures.
Steel of high Si content is used as materials of an inner ring, an outer ring and a rolling element. Further the materials of the inner ring and the outer ring are steel satisfying a formula (I). Further nitrogen of 0.3-2.0 mass % exists in a surface layer portion of a rolling surface of the rolling element.[C]+0.05[Cr]+0.12([Mo]+[V])≤1.41 ...(I) [Cr], [Mo] and [V] in the formula respectively indicate content (mass%) of Cr, Mo and V in the steel.
