Abstract:

To provide a rolling bearing superior in impact resistance and load resistance.

At least one component among an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2 and a rolling element 3 is made from a steel which comprises, by mass%, 0.1 to 0.55% C, 0.3 to 2.0% Cr, 0.1 to 0.6% Si, 0.3 to 2.0% Mn, 2% or less Mo, 5% or less Ni, 0.01 to 1.0% Nb, 12 ppm or less O and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities, while making a C content and a Ni content satisfy the relationship of 9×C (mass%)≤Ni (mass%).
