To provide a rolling bearing having a planetary roller speed reducing function which is compact and has high transmission efficiency.
A cage 4 is extended to one side in the axial direction from an area between an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2; the planetary roller speed reducing function using the inner ring 1, the outer ring 2, and a plurality of rollers 3 as rolling elements as a sun ring externally fitted and fixed to an input shaft 11, an internal ring fixed to a housing 12, and planetary rollers, respectively, and using, as a carrier of the planetary rollers connected to an output shaft 13, a ring part 4b of the cage 4 extended to the one side in the axial direction is provided; and surface roughness of raceway surfaces 1a and 2a of the inner ring 1 and the outer ring 2, and a rolling surface 3a of each roller 3 is set not smaller than 0.3 Ra, whereby the rolling bearing can be provided which has the planetary roller speed reducing function which is compact and high transmission efficiency.
