Abstract:
To provide a rolling bearing prolonging the operable time thereof without causing seizure in a dry-run state by preventing the peeling of silver plating applied to a guide surface of a retainer in corner parts thereof.
The corner parts of the guide surface 5a of the retainer 5 are respectively provided with an R-chamfer part 5b, and the R-chamfer part 5b is connected to the guide surface 5a through a connection part 5c having a smooth curvature to prevent a silver plating layer 6 from being thickened in the corner part of the guide surface 5a and to prevent the silver plating from being peeled in the corner part. The operable time of the rolling bearing without outbreaks of seizure in a dry-run state can be thereby prolonged.
