Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily assemble a cage in a rolling bearing in which a part of the cage is opposed to an outer ring at an interval.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing 10 includes an inner ring 11 having an inner ring raceway surface 51 at an outer peripheral side, an outer ring 12 having an outer ring raceway surface 52 and a shoulder portion 55 at an inner peripheral side, a plurality of balls 13 disposed therebetween, and an annular cage 21. The cage 21 has an annular portion 21 at an axial one side, and a plurality of pillar portions 22 extended from the annular portion 21 to the axial other side, and pockets 20 for accommodating the balls 13, are respectively configured between a pair of pillar portions 22, 22 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. A radial outer face 40 of the cage 14 has an opposite face 24 opposed to the shoulder portion 55 at an interval, and a retraction face 41 positioned at a radial inner side with respect to the opposite face 24, and preventing interference with a boundary portion 57 between the shoulder portion 55 and the outer ring raceway surface 52, when the pillar portions 22 are elastically deformed to the radial outer side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
