Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of recycling a protection member after measuring a bearing internal clearance, and measuring the bearing internal clearance without forming a cut line for inserting a clearance gauge on the protection member.SOLUTION: A raceway ring 2 has a stepped fitting portion 8 receiving a peripheral edge portion 7 of a protection member 5 from a radial direction and a raceway surface side, and a retaining ring groove 9 to which a retaining ring 6 can be fitted. The peripheral edge portion 7 of the protection member 5 is fitted to the fitting portion 8, and the retaining ring 6 is fitted to the retaining ring groove 9 to fix the protection member 5 to the raceway ring 2. A diameter φB of a groove shoulder portion 12 at an axial outer side of the retaining ring groove 9 is determined to a size same as a diameter φA of a peripheral face 8a of the fitting portion 8 radially receiving the peripheral edge portion 7 of the protection member 5, or a size having diameter difference to a part separating from the peripheral edge portion 7 of the protection member 5 with respect to φA.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
