Abstract:
The present invention is related to a rolling bearing that comprises a seal member (5) that seals a bearing space (S) formed between an inner and an outer wheel (1, 2), wherein the outer radial edge of the seal member (5) is fixed to the outer wheel (2) and the seal member (5) has a seal lip part (9) that contacts the outer circumferential surface (1b) of the inner wheel (1) on the inner radial edge side with an interference (δ), wherein a tip part (12) of the seal lip part (9) comprises a high wear material that is worn by use when the bearing is in a rotated state and does not come into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the inner wheel or that comes into light contact with the surface equivalent to a contact pressure of zero and wherein a circular oil groove (14) is provided on the surface of the seal lip part (9) that contacts the outer circumferential surface (1b) of the inner wheel (1). Due to these features, the present invention has superior sealing and low friction performance and makes it possible to reduce the time until the seal lip part is moderately worn.
