Abstract:
PURPOSE: To extend the life of a bearing when it is used at high temperatures and under heavy loaded condition in the water.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing ring and a rolling element are respectively formed by ceramics which are mainly composed of silicon nitride. A raceway surface of the bearing ring and the rolling surface of the rolling element are respectively covered by silicon oxide film.
