PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a screw thread so as to start a screw from a predetermined position.SOLUTION: A rolling device rolls a screw thread in a blank having a detection object part. The rolling device comprises a rolling die 320 for rolling the screw thread in the blank, a detection part for detecting a rotational directional position of the detection object part and a control part 360 for controlling a rotation position of the rolling die 320 when starting contact between the rolling die 320 and the blank so as to start a screw from a predetermined position to the detection object part based on the rotational directional position of the detection object part detected by the detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
