To provide a rolling die which is inexpensively manufactured by reducing the manufacturing cost of the base stock for dies and a manufacturing method of the rolling die.
By constituting so that only working teeth for forming a coarse screw thread are provided on the first rolling tooth profile face of a first die and the formation of working teeth for forming a fine screw thread is eliminated, the man-hour for grinding is reduced. Meanwhile, the working teeth 22 for forming the coarse screw thread and tooth profiles 23 for forming the fine screw thread are provided on the second rolling tooth profile face 21 of the second die by electric discharge machining. Consequently, the rolling die is more inexpensively manufactured while sufficiently securing the quality of a double thread.
