PURPOSE: To provide a rolling device, from which substantially constant line pressure can be obtained by means of impressed force based on a change of a rotation speed of a hollow roll even when the hollow roll is based on a rolling bearing in its roll end or its extension part.

CONSTITUTION: Although a hollow roll 1 is rotated around an unrotational cross head 3, the hollow roll 1 is not journalled to the cross head and can perform a stroke motion with respect to the cross head 3. In an axis directional extension part 20 arranged in the hollow roll 1, an extension part 30 of a drive casing 25 is clamped at an axial interval, and between both extension parts 20, 30, bearings 23, 24 are arranged. The hollow roll 1 is guided by means of a guide ring 40, which can be moved in an operation plane to the cross head 3.
