Abstract:
To accurately restrict the amount of depression on rolling elements without giving damage thereto when assembling a rolling bearing.
A plurality of columnar portions 3 are provided protruding from an annular portion 2 to one axial side. When assembling a roller bearing, the columnar portions 3 are axially inserted between a plurality of rollers 13 to be assembled on a raceway surface 12a of an outer ring 12 together with a cage 14, at the centers of the rollers 13 on the opposite side to the raceway surface 12a to prevent the depression of the rollers 13 in the radial direction. Thus, the amount of depression of the rollers 13 is accurately restricted without giving damage thereto.
