Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the maintenance of the flying joining device without lowering the productivity of a rolling line.
SOLUTION: The rolling equipment is equipped with a cross-moving device 12 moving horizontally and laterally the flying joining device 10 between a flying position L on the rolling line and a standby position S deviated from the rolling line. This cross-moving device is equipped with a pair of flying part rails 13 composing a part of a flying rails 11 at the time of flying joining and a pair of standby part rails 14 composing a part of the flying rails at the time of a standby. The flying part rail and the standby part rail have the same shape, and they can be changed over while supporting the flying joining device.
