Abstract:
To provide a form rolling apparatus and a form rolling method which can simplify positional adjustment of a processing roller with respect to a tubular member while maintaining processing accuracy, and can process the tubular member regardless of its diameter.SOLUTION: A form rolling apparatus 1 is a form rolling apparatus 1 for processing a groove 4 along an outer periphery of a tubular member 2 and comprises: a processing roller 16 which rotates about a first axis 16c disposed parallel to an axis of the tubular member 2 to be processed; a support member 15 disposed on the other side with respect to the processing roller 16 across a processing area where the tubular member 2 is inserted; and a frame member 13 which holds one of the processing roller 16 and the support member 15 via a drive member 14 that can be expanded and contracted in a radial direction toward the axis, and can move in parallel with the expansion/contraction direction together with the other of the processing roller 16 and the support member 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
