PURPOSE: To provide rolling equipment in which highly accurate shape control with a cross mill is enabled, besides, its mechanism is simplified.

CONSTITUTION: A crossing mechanism is provided only on the lower work roll 12 on one side of upper and lower work rolls 11, 12 and also lubricating liquid 21 is sprayed from a lubricating liquid feeding system 22 between the lower work roll 12 and a lower back-up roll 14 which are crossed. In this way, with the crossing mechanism only for one lower work roll 12, sequently, the cross state that the upper and lower work rolls 11, 12 are crossed is made and the mechanism of the rolling equipment 10 is simplified. The thrust force that is generated between the lower work roll 12 and the lower back-up roll 14 accompanying roll cross is reduced by the lubricating liquid 21 from the lubricating liquid feeding system 22.
