Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling flat die for improving processing accuracy of a workpiece (a gear), particularly, a cumulative pitch error, and capable of easily adjusting an over pin size of the workpiece caused when changing a workpiece diameter and replacing a rolling flat die.SOLUTION: A rolling flat die 1 comprises a plate 4 and a plurality of die parts 2 and 3, in which the die parts 2 and 3 are constituted of at least the first die part 2 having a biting tooth 5 and the second die part 3 having a finishing tool 7, and the first die part 2 and the second die part 3 are fastened by fastening means 30 attachable-detachable above the plate 4. A spring S is also built in between the first die part 2 and the plate 4. A relief tooth 8a can also be provided in the first die part 2. The relief teeth 8a and 8b are respectively provided in the first die part 2 and the second die part 3, and the respective relief teeth 8a and 8b can also be made mutually adjacent.
