To provide a rolling line for rolling metallic bars for tubular, bar stocks or wire rods which is not only free from faults of the conventional rolling line but can accept a high load and is compatible with requirements of changing operation rapidly with small consumption of work, time and cost.
This rolling line for rolling the metallic bars for tubular, bar stocks and wire rods has plural roll stands which are provided linearly, closely and successively, and these roll stands are constituted so as to be changed rapidly in all, in plural or independently. Each of these roll stands is provided with at least three rolls, each of which is driven together with its own driving shaft with each one own motor in all roll stands and with which the rolling axis is radially enclosed. At this time, these rolls are supported with roll shafts which consist of plural parts and a roll stand housing and roll supporting part are constituted so as to be changeable without disassembling them.
