To provide a rolling member in which precipitation of coarse cementite along a grain boundary is restrained, and a manufacturing method for the same.
This rolling member is composed of a steel material containing at least 0.1-0.35 wt.% C and 0.5-2.0 wt.% Si and one or more kinds selected from a group composed of 0.05-1.0 wt.% V, 0.3-2.0 wt.% Cr and 0.05-0.8 wt.% Mo, and the member includes a carburizing layer which is formed on the steel material and surface carbon concentration is adjusted to 0.8-1.8 wt.%, a granulated cementite which has 2-20 vol% dispersed on the surface side of the steel material, a nitriding layer which is formed to the depth of 20 m from the surface of the steel member and is adjusted to 0.1-1.0 wt.% of the surface nitrogen concentration, and a quenching-hardening layer which is formed more deeply than the above carburizing layer.
