PURPOSE: To prevent indents in the shape of an inside pit given by pressing in inside scales of a hollow tube stock.

CONSTITUTION: A draw starting position of the hollow tube stock 3 by rolling rolls 1 and a plug 2 is set on the outlet side of gouges G of the rolling rolls 1 and a distance A between the gouge G and the draw starting position P is set to 0≤A≤[πD(sinθ)η]/ (D: outer diameter of tube after it is rolled, θ: inclined angle of roll, η: forward efficiency, : draw ratio) and rolled. In this way, when the set up for the rolling is changed, indents of inside scales can be prevented from being generated in drawing.
