To receive large thrust force and to facilitate mounting/demounting of a chock by splitting a thrust ring receiving thrust force acting to a rolling roll in plural in the circumferential direction and mutually connecting these with an extendable elastic body.
A thrust ring is split to split ring 6a, 6b, these are connected by an elastic body. The split rings 6a, 6b are fitted into a roll groove formed to a roll neck 1a and are held by a cover 12b. A chock 2 is fixed to a roll 1 by a bearing holder 5 and the split rings 6a, 6b through a bearing 3. Pulling out the chock 2 is done so that a case 12a is moved in the P2 direction to set the spilt thrust rings 6a, 6b in a demounted state and to release the restriction in the roll axial direction. The spilt thrust rings 6a, 6b are moved in the direction opposite to the center, the chock 2 is pulled out in the axial direction.
