PURPOSE: To offer a rolling mill excellent in control capacity of sheet crown of rolled stock capable of reducing thrust acting on working rolls by a simple constitution and of which the working rolls are crossed.

CONSTITUTION: The purpose is attained by constituting the back-up rolls 8 of the rolling mill so that the axial lines of those rolls are not inclined in a horizontal plane, constituting each of the working rolls 7 so that the axial lines of those working rolls can be inclined to the axial lines of those back-up rolls in a horizontal plane and providing lubricant supplying devices 1 with which lubricant is supplied between the working roll and back-up roll. By this invention, the rolling mill with a constitution that only the working rolls are crossed is realized. Because thrust that acts on the working rolls can be reduced by the action of lubricant which is supplied between the rolls, the control capacity of sheet crown of rolled stock can be sufficiently exhibited.
