Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture even a foil too thin and wide to stand on its own bottom by rolling easily and acculately.
SOLUTION: In a rolling mill for metal foils with which rolling is applied a base stock S for rolling by feeding a planar base stock S for rolling between a pair of mutual work rolls 10, each a pair of intermediate rolls 30 are arranged in contact with the respective work rolls 10 in the state where axial centers a, b, c are mutually parallel, also each one back-up roll 20 is arranged in contact with the intermediate rolls 30 and rolling load is imparted to the respective work rolls 10 through a pair of back-up rolls 20 and a pair of intermediate rolls 30.
