Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of preventing connection failures with a spindle in roll recombination.SOLUTION: A position adjustment system of a rolling mill spindle includes: position coordinate measurement means for measuring position coordinates of a roll side end face and an outer periphery of a spindle; spindle position determination means for determining a position and posture of the spindle using arrangement of a rolling facility and shape information of a device, and the measured position coordinates; and spindle position adjustment means for adjusting the position and posture of the spindle. A position adjustment method of the rolling mill spindle acquires position coordinates of a roll side end face and an outer periphery of a spindle supported on a spindle rest, calculates a liner thickness adjustment amount of the spindle rest for a predetermined spindle position and posture using arrangement of a rolling facility including a rolling mill and shape information of a device, and the acquired position coordinates of the spindle, and changes the liner thickness of the spindle rest supporting the spindle on the basis of the thickness adjustment amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
