To provide a rolling mill of which the rolling mill and devices around a driving reduction gear connected to the mill can be made compact and angularity on the inside surface of a pipe after rolling is prevented.
This device consists of plural rolls 1 symmetically arranged around the pass line, a driving bevel gear 4 having a ring shaped large diameter for rotationally driving the rolls 1, an input shaft mechanism 5 for rotating the driving bevel gear 4, plural gear transmission mechanisms 8 arranged at equal intervals in the peripheral direction of the bevel gear 4 and a housing 3 for holding them. The input shaft mechanism 5 consists of one input shaft 6 which penetrates the housing 3 from the outside to the inside, a small diameter input bevel gear 7 which is fixed to the input shaft 6 and engaged with driving bevel gear 4 and the input shaft mechanism 5 is arranged between a pair of gear transmission mechanisms 8, 8 which are adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction. Even when the input shaft 6 is horizontally arranged, the phase angle of the roll is finely variable.
