Abstract:
To provide a rolling mill for obtaining a product having a good shape by efficiently correcting the twist of a material to be rolled in a cross mill.
In the rolling mill in which an upper work roll 2 and a lower work roll 3 are crossed via the material S to be rolled and the material S to be rolled is rolled by applying rolling load, the roll diameters of the upper work roll 2 and the lower work roll 3 are different at both ends in the axial direction of the rolls and a gap which is created between the upper and the lower work rolls is made so as to be equal to gap distribution created by a quadratic curve in the case the roll diameters are equal at both ends in the axial direction of the roll.
