Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rolling roll cooling device capable of accurately controlling heat crown by a cooling position even at the time of change of the plate width of a rolled stock.
CONSTITUTION: The spouting width of a slit-shaped nozzle 21 in the direction of a roll axis formed on a cooling pad 15 can be changed by a mask shielding mechanism 24. A cooling width is changed by regulating accurately cooling positions at the end parts of the plate so that heat crown can accurately be controlled by covering both end parts of the slit-shaped nozzle 21 with the mask shielding mechanism 24 according to the plate width of the rolled stock.
