Abstract:
To improve the life of a rolling ring and to reduce the cost of a rolling process by dissolving the nonuniformity of stress distribution to the rolling ring by taper fitting and preventing the breaking of the rolling ring and elongating the life of the rolling ring.
A rolling roll 10 constituted by mounting a taper sleeve 12 having a tapered surface in its inner circumference to a taper shaft 2 which is rotated around the axial line O and further mounting a rolling ring 14 on the outer circumference of the tapered sleeve 12, is characterized in that a tapered surface is formed on the outer circumference of the taper sleeve 12.
