Title:
ROLLING SLIDE PART
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0735217
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain sufficient resistance against peeling even under severe lubrication conditions by forming minute and continuous projections and recessed sections on a surface of a rolling slide part so as to enable the effective formation of an oil film on a contact face.

CONSTITUTION: When minute projections and recessed parts are formed on a face to be machined, minute shot particles 3 which are charged from a hopper l of a shot peening device into a pressurizing tank 2 are pressed into a mixer 5, being accompanied by compressed air fed from an intake air pipe 4 into the pressurizing tank 2, fed into a nozzle 7 through a branched pipe 6, and blowed against the face to be machined of a rolling slide part energetically by injecting from the nozzle 7 so as to form minute projections and recessed sections on the face to be machined. At this time, sum of volume per unit area of numerous recessed sections which constitute projections and recessed sections and average value of volume of each recessed section are set in the scope of 5×10-8W5×10-7cc/mm2 and 10-100μm3, respectively. As a consequence, it is possible to form an effective oil film on a contact face part and prevent break of oil film.
