Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect the presence of abnormality on bearings without suspending a rolling stock.
SOLUTION: The rolling stock bearing abnormality detection device 1 is formed out of bearing abnormality detection transmitting means 2, and of a monitoring means 3. Each bearing abnormality detection transmitting means 2 is supposed to have each temperature sensor which is provided for a place close to each axle bearing of rolling stocks 4 for detecting the abnormality of each bearing, and have each transmitter transmitting the detected signal of each temperature sensor as a wireless signal. And the monitoring means 3 is supposed to have both a receiver receiving a signal transmitted by the transmitter and an abnormality indication means which processes a signal received by the receiver as specified for indicating its abnormality.
