To provide a rolling stock inspection method using a long image and the device therefore which obtains the long image of a moving rolling stock, and combines the other kinds of information from a sensor in relation to the image.

The rolling stock inspection device using the long image is equipped with a camera 2 which is disposed at the side of the rail track or the inside of the rail track, and obtains the long image of the moving rolling stock, and the sensor 14 which is fixedly disposed at the side of the rail stock or the inside of the rail track, and obtains a time series data synchronized with the long image.
